Who is Navigate Law Group?
Navigate Law Group was founded in December 2014 by a team of very talented attorneys in Vancouver, Washington. The law firm consists of a local team of successful lawyers with expertise in a wide range of legal areas. The Navigate team provide top-notch legal services for Vancouver and Portland-metro area residents, and they also value their community deeply. Navigate Law Group attorneys volunteer more than 80 hours per month on average so that our community can have easy access to the justice system.

The Challenges
The previous Navigate Law Group website was built by a tech-savvy team member who used a popular drag-and-drop website builder called Weebly. Although the old site served the law firm very well for the first few years, the firm has outgrown the platform for three main reasons:
- Brand inconsistency
- Lack of maintenance
- An urgent SEO need for online visibility
Amber, one of Navigate’s founding members, invited Ichor Studios to develop a pitch to take over Navigate’s digital marketing needs. In response, we created a custom solution that allows Navigate to build a simple landing page to replace the old site without breaking the bank. We also proposed a monthly SEO retainer, which enables us to guide the Navigate team as they create more relevant content for legal keywords in addition to well-researched blog content. The result is a website that not only provides comprehensive and useful content but also ranks well among relevant searches.
Our Solution
We built an easy-to-navigate landing page for the law office back in 2019 and continue to add additional pages to their website. In March 2020, Navigate now has a powerhouse website that not only shares what legal services they offer, but also demonstrates their legal knowledge through consistent blog posting.
Our monthly SEO services have heavily focused on improving Navigate’s rankings when it comes to legal service related keywords. In the meantime, we also helped to improve their local search listing. By optimizing the technical configuration of their Google Business Page, as well as adding content that most other attorneys are missing out on — like an FAQ and Google posts — we help new clients find Navigate Law Group online.
Through a well-designed SEO campaign by Moz, along with Google’s native traffic tracking platforms, we can help the law firm achieve significant ranking improvements in many legal fields.

Meaningful Results
Our founder has deep roots in data science and understands the unfortunate reality of data manipulation. Ichor Studios believes in providing meaningful and easy-to-understand data that small business owners can understand and remember.
- 45% of tracked keywords jumped to rank on the first two pages in our Moz Campaign that set up for Navigate. Well over half of those keywords are ranked on the first page of the search results.
- There are 7000 more impressions on Google Search Console for Navigate Law Group in March 2020 compared to June 2019. What is an impression? A link URL records an impression when it appears in a search result for a user. Whether or not the link must actually be scrolled into view or otherwise visible depends on the type of search element that contains the link, as described later.
- 566% increase in the amount of online form submission requesting legal services. We gather the number of online form submission through the website from real potential clients with their legal issues. Compared to June 2019, we saw close to a 600% increase in real client online inquiries
- Increase In Search Visibility Score in the MOZ campaign from 06.2019 to 03.2020. What is Search Visibility? The Search Visibility score is the percentage of clicks we estimate you receive based on your organic rankings positions, across all of the keywords you’re tracking in your Campaign.
